One of the rights of the child that needs to be respected is the right to a
family, a home, that can transmit to her, affection, care, love and affection. As an instrument to provide this home to the child, the State has the adoption institute. Although in orphanages there are several children waiting for new families, adoption in Brazil is still seen as a bureaucratic and slow process. In Brazil, national and international adoptions are supported and are standardized in the principles present in the Federa l Constitution of 1988, in the Statute of Children and Adolescents, in the decree that promulgated the Hague Convention and, more recently in law 12.010/2009, known as New Adoption Law. The child is only taken for adoption when all attempts to return him
to his family are frustrated. Due to the monitoring of several areas, international adoption has become an important government ally acting as a
public policy in favor of children who have been waiting for adoption for years. The objective of this work is to analyze international adoption as another public policy aimed at giving a home to children and adolescents who are in shelters without the slightest prospect of adoption by Brazilian couples, giving them back the dignity and hope for a life. better nex t to your replacement family. The research method adopted was hypothetical-deductive and the type of research presented was bibliographic.
