Tratamento de esgoto e a legislação

The theme of this work is the preparation of material aimed at all users of the sewage treatment service in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, with an approach to legislation such as Laws 9,984/2000, 11,445/07, 14,026/2020. Basic sanitation is based on the National Solid Waste Policy Law 12,305/2010 in order to manage the solid waste generated and on CONAMAS resolutions, including NBR 12216/92 which deals with the Installation Standards for Sewage Treatment Stations. Sewage treatment can be physical and biological, and provides benefits, preventing diseases and improving quality of life, in addition to preventing pollution of water resources and groundwater. Sewage treatment has costs and the concessionaire charges the user for the water treatment and also for the sewage treatment and final disposal of the sewage, so the user pays for the water and sewage treatment and in return has the benefit of no contamination with illnesses and the Environment thanks.
