The course completion project deals with the continuous improvement implementation project using Lean methodology and its tools, with the aim of maturing processes, reducing costs, waste and increasing operational efficiency. The research involved a detailed analysis of the entire production process where it was possible to map the processes, enabling the identification of existing bottlenecks, activities that did not add value to the end customer and enabling the identification of improvement opportunities with the aim of making the process continuous and optimized. . With the transformations and improvements implemented, it is possible to obtain a significant increase in productivity, improve customer focus, and opportunities for growth for both the team involved and the company. Furthermore, the methodology demonstrates broad operational adaptability, although the proposed Lean approach to operational excellence has not been completely achieved, the results obtained show that the company is on the right path to improving its processes and increasing its competitiveness. Therefore, the study presented highlights the importance of always seeking continuous improvement in processes in order to seek operational excellence, strengthening and overcoming difficulties encountered in the process, delivering value to the customer, thus enabling an increase in production volume. In short, the application of Lean generated a new mentality for the sectors in addition to bringing a competitive advantage to the company, promoting a culture of the Toyota production system, eliminating resources and improving, always seeking efficiency in production processes.
