This study compares areas of rural properties generated from coordinates of the Local Geodetic System (LMS), UTM Projection System and Local Topographic System (LS). The research aims to understand the variations in area resulting from the different projections and coordinate systems, based on data obtained in the field and processed according to INCRA and ABNT standards.
