Georreference: an analysis of its applicability in rural properties

The contextualization of the research is specifically outlined in a bibliographical analysis of the application of the georeferencing process on Brazilian rural properties. This work's main objective is to present and investigate the applicability of georeferencing in rural areas, in addition to investigating the techniques and/or systems used in the area and suggesting proposals to be adopted. The hypothetical-deductive method was used in the study and the following methodological technique was used: literature review (epistemological framework) on the topic, based on reading books, monographs, scientific articles and websites linked to the main subject of the study. The results obtained at the end of the research were that there is currently a significant advance in the use of the georeferencing process in Brazilian rural properties, as well as several updates in the techniques, methods and equipment related and directed to the application of georeferencing, in addition to that this process has been exercising direct interference in the appreciation of properties, as well as security and support before private and public bodies. And it can be proven that there is a certain lack, neglect and/or lack of information on the part of some landowners and professionals regarding the use of this process as a tool for land control. It is therefore concluded that despite the breadth and extent of this process, there is a perceived lack in its dissemination, supervision and execution, requiring greater investments in these aspects.
