Synopsis

This work will seek to present the Special Criminal Courts from the perspective of conciliation and coping with social conflicts, not only from a legal perspective but also from the social and community aspect of the demands brought to the Judiciary. Its objective debate the origin, reasons and foundations of Special Criminal Courts, with an emphasis on the need to achieve social demands that are taken to the judiciary and resolved promptly, without debate and dialogue with the parties involved, also covering the community at large. around the conflict. The methodology was based on a literary review in order to bring the understanding of the most diverse scholars and sectors of both law and social sciences on the subject. In this sense, the main focus of the study is to understand the needs and improvements of the conciliation institute, which must adhere to a prospective and rational basis and also with the observance of other paths such as psychology and criminology, as a way of preventing social conflicts. In the end, it can be concluded that within the scope of Special Criminal Courts, greater qualifications still need to be sought in search of more concrete effects for the whole of society, externalizing decisions beyond the singularity of the raised demand.
