Inquérito policial

The objective of this article is to analyze in a concise manner the development and
procedural framework of the administrative procedure carried out by the judicial police. The aim is to understand, in a simple and objective way, the complexities involved in this process. Additionally, the importance of initiating this procedure to elucidate the facts will be emphasized, requiring the presence of minimum elements of conviction to support it. In the specific context of its operation, the goal is to promote a balance in investigative diligences throughout the investigations, ensuring that all parties involved are treated fairly and impartially. Lastly, the aim is to demonstrate the truthfulness of the authorship and materiality of the facts, without preempting any certainty or bias that could influence a future conviction or acquittal. The methodology used in this study is based on research in legal doctrines and the reading of the Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code.
