The funding study: importance and applications in Georeferencing of Rural Properties and in Land Surveying.

This research seeks to demonstrate the technique and emphasize the importance of the land study in carrying out work involving legal surveying, such as the georeferencing of rural properties and land forensics; to this end, it provides a basic systematization of the content needed to carry out a land study, ranging from a history of Brazil's land origins, through real estate registry law, the sequencing of activities in a land study; It also emphasizes the chain of ownership, which is a real history of the property's registration; as well as the use of these materials in the analyses; going as far as carrying out a practical case, which was a study for the location of the Garden of Eden. The methodology used was bibliographical research; documentary research; and, for the practical case, experimental research in which a study was carried out using the phases indicated in the body of the work.
