In the middle of the 21st century, little is heard or even known about stateless persons. This could be verified through the questionnaire applied to several people with different levels of education. Even though it is a little talked about and little known subject, it is real. It is a fact that there are people who lose or are born without a nationality and an individual without an identification is a complete stranger to the legal world, as there is no possibility of issuing documents such as birth certificate, identity and CPF. The lack of documentation triggers other problems, such as the difficulty of enrolling in schools, consulting in hospitals, dental clinics and even getting a job. When there is a job offer, the stateless person is usually exploited, has to work long hours and be content with lower earnings than other employees. To get a place in the sun, stateless people have to start a pilgrimage in search of a country that is willing to accept them.
