Constitutional Legal Basis: The importance of the theme in basic education and the challenges for its implementation in Brazilian schools

The present work seeks to investigate the importance and existing challenges for the implementation of law in basic education. The general objective of the article is to demonstrate the importance of l egal constitutional education to children. A systematized study of Constitutional Law was used, with a view to being the major source of Brazilian law. In this sense, we sought to investigate both legislative challenges and challenges of correct implementa tion of teaching to Brazilian children. As methodology, we used the qualitative method, with extensive bibliographic research within the themes that investigate the importance of fundamental rights and guarantees, in addition to research in existing materials on the process of insertion of law in schools, as well as topics related to the education process in general. With this, it seeks to bring the opportunity to evelop future active citizens in society, more knowledgeable about the political social scena rio and about their rights and duties.
