Failure in quality control and inspection in production automotive foam: case study of the company Tw Espumas Ltda.

The present project aims to analyze, identify the causes and propose solutions for the problem of non-standard parts that occurs in the production of automotive foams at the company Tw foams, reducing losses in the production process and ensuring that your contract is not harmed against the its main customer due to problems related to the quality of the delivered products. The project is based on the use of quality tools to achieve the goals set. As for the methodology used, it is an applied
research, with a case study, of a quantitative nature. Data collection was carried out via documentary collection, analyzing information from discarded parts in a certain period of time. The identification of the main cause of the problems of non-standard parts was possible due to the use of the Pareto Diagram quality tool.
