Implementation of BIM in Brazil

A number of new technologies are currently being developed and employed in the construction field that aim to eliminate errors and reduce costs. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is one of the most promising developments for this industry. This technology has been designed to support construction professional throughout the duration of a project from design to worksite demobilization, and this paper deals with its implementation and application of this technology in offices and companies in the civil area in Brazil.
