With the increase in demand for construction, the use of cast-in-situ concrete wall has grown, being known for its practicality and rationality. Due this industrialization and the discrepancy in the construction speed referring to the conventional construction system, different types of pathologies are denoted, even when produced with aluminum formwork. These pathologies can cause several problems in construction, delays, and financial losses due to rework, a factor that contradicts the advantages of using the metallic formwork. Given this, there is a need to study the pathologies identified in this construction system, as well as the proposal of mitigating solutions for these manifestations. To meet this demand, a case study was carried out in a construction site in Belo Horizonte/MG, where the system of cast-in-place concrete walls in aluminum forms is used, comparing the data collected through systematic observation with information obtained in bibliographical and documental research, mainly in norms related to the theme. Based on the study, it was observed that in this type of construction, few pathologies are found, especially when following the guidelines for the execution of the walls. Regarding the mitigating measures, it is presented that the specialization of the workforce and the quality control of the execution of the construction are the main ways to avoid pathological manifestations. As for its corrections, it is shown that, mostly, plaster application is used.
