The legal analysis for the admission of people with desabilities at PMMG

The article aims to present an analysis of legislation and court decisions regarding of hiring people with disabilities into the Military Police of Minas Gerais (PMMG). The main objective of the study is to differentiate the PMMG's admissions cadres, in the operational and administrative functions composed of military and civil servants, focusing on presenting the existing legal grounds on the restrictions on admission to the operational function of military police, and why not are the same required for the admission of civil servants. Therefore, the requirements for joining the military and civil servants are initially presented. The principles of equality and reasonableness in the situation were discussed. Then, the option of vacancy for the disabled within the PMMG is discussed. The research methodology used was bibliographic and documentary. Finally, it is highlighted through court decisions how the understanding has been regarding the admission of people with disabilities into the military career.
