A IMPORTÂNCIA E OS DIFERENTES PAPÉIS DA TOPOGRAFIA EM OBRAS DE CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL

Topography plays an important role in civil construction, providing the necessary foundation for project planning, development, and execution. From the beginning of a construction project, it is essential to understand the characteristics of the land, such as terrain, slopes, elevation, and location. Over time, new technologies have emerged to assist and complement topographic services, which were previously performed using basic equipment. Technologies such as drones and GPS RTK provide highly reliable services in less time and at different costs. This work aims to explore the importance of various tools and equipment used in topographic surveys for diverse civil construction projects, demonstrating through a case study the role these tools play during project stages and, as a result, the production of georeferenced orthophotos and contour lines of the study area.
